PM Assures Govt Every Support to UAE Investors

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan’s Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif assured on Friday that the government would provide all the necessary support to the investors from the United Arab Emirates (UAE).

In a meeting with a delegation of UAE investors, the Prime Minister hailed Abu Dhabi Ports’ willingness to participate in Pakistan’s ports and shipping industry. The delegation was led by Sheikh Ahmed Dalmook al Maktoum, a member of the UAE ruling family and Chairman of Abu Dhabi Ports.

Regarding Pakistan-UAE relations, Shehbaz Sharif said that Pakistan places great importance on expanding brotherly ties with the UAE in various sectors, including trade and investment.

Sheikh Ahmed Dalmook al Maktoum said that he would return to Pakistan in less than two months to boost the UAE’s investment in the country. The meeting was attended by Federal Minister for Finance Ishaq Dar, Minister for Maritime Affairs Syed Faisal Ali Sabzwari, SAPM Dr. Jehanzeb Khan, SAPM Syed Tariq Fatemi, and senior officials. The UAE Ambassador to Pakistan, Hammad Obaid Ibrahim Salem Al Zaabi was also present on the occasion.
