PESHAWAR: Pakistan cricket team captain Babar Azam has officially joined Peshawar Zalmi for Pakistan Super League’s eighth season.
Peshawar Zalmi announced on Friday that the star cricketer has officially joined the team. Babar Azam is the all-time highest scorer of PSL.
After a long allegiance with Karachi Kings since PSL’s second edition, he has parted ways with the franchise. He led the side to victory in 2020.
Babar Azam represented Islamabad United in the inaugural edition of the PSL. Before PSL 2017 players’ draft, Babar was moved to Kings. Since then, he has represented the Kings in six PSL editions and also captained the franchise this year.
