ISLAMABAD: Peshawar Zalmi have unveiled a motivational short film starring Mahira Khan and released their official anthem to mark the 10th edition of the HBL Pakistan Super League (PSL), which kicks off on 11 April.

To rally fans ahead of PSL 10, the 2017 champions launched a high-energy short film featuring renowned Pakistani actress Mahira Khan, followed by the release of their official anthem. The anthem is performed by popular artists Mustafa Zahid and Aima Baig.

The accompanying music video showcases captain Babar Azam and top-order batter Saim Ayub engaged in shadow practice and interacting with supporters, aiming to build anticipation for the new season.
Pashto-language anthem
Earlier this month, Zalmi also released a regional Pashto-language anthem, sung by Raheem Shah, filmed at the newly constructed Arbab Niaz Stadium in Peshawar—part of the franchise’s ongoing campaign to bring PSL fixtures to their home city.

On the same day, the team unveiled their new kit for PSL 10. The promotional poster featured key players Babar Azam, Saim Ayub, Mohammad Haris, and England’s Tom Kohler-Cadmore.
Notably, the jersey was crafted by skilled women from Haripur under the ‘Dil Se Ba-Ikhtiar’ initiative, which focuses on women’s empowerment through vocational training.
The jersey design symbolises strength, empowerment, and traditional craftsmanship, reinforcing the franchise’s message of pride, resilience, and inclusivity.
Peshawar Zalmi will begin their PSL 10 campaign on 12 April with a clash against long-time rivals Quetta Gladiators at the Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium.
