Ingredients:

For the Dough:

  • 1 ½ cups all-purpose flour
  • 3/4 cup caster sugar
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • 3/4 cup full cream milk
  • 1 tsp vanilla essence

For the Peach Mixture:

  • 4-5 peaches, peeled and sliced
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 2 tbsp cinnamon powder
  • 1 pinch of salt

For the Peach Cobbler:

  • 1/4 cup unsalted dairy butter, melted
  • Prepared dough (as required)
  • Peach mixture
  • Dairy cream (as required)
  • Additional peach slices (for topping)

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, combine the flour, caster sugar, baking powder, full cream milk, and vanilla essence. Mix well and set aside.
  2. In a pan, heat the peaches, brown sugar, cinnamon powder, and salt. Cook until the peaches soften, then set aside.
  3. In a baking dish, pour the melted unsalted dairy butter. Add the prepared dough, spreading it evenly. Then, add the peach mixture, distributing it uniformly. Bake in a preheated oven at 170°C (338°F) for 30-35 minutes.
  4. Remove the cobbler from the oven and let it cool to room temperature. Top with additional peach slices and drizzle with dairy cream.
  5. Your Peach Cobbler is ready to be served and enjoyed.
