RIYADH: Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif emphasized on Tuesday that the global aspiration for progress and prosperity cannot be realized unless peace is restored in Gaza and the ongoing bloodshed is brought to an immediate halt.
Speaking at the 8th meeting of the Future Investment Initiative (FII) in Riyadh, the Prime Minister explicitly addressed the situation in Gaza, stating that without peace and an end to violence, the world would struggle to advance and prosper, according to a press release from the PM Office Media Wing.
His candid remarks were well received by the audience, as he highlighted Pakistan’s concerns regarding the serious situation in Gaza.
The event, attended by world leaders and representatives gathered in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, focused on the theme “Infinite Horizons: Investing Today, Shaping Tomorrow.”
It aimed to explore global investments addressing key issues such as artificial intelligence, robotics, education, energy, space, finance, healthcare, and sustainability.
