PCB Names Mohammad Rizwan as Vice-captain of Pakistan’s T20I team

LAHORE: Wicketkeeper-batsman, Mohammad Rizwan has been appointed vice-captain of Pakistan’s T20I team.

Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has appointed Muhammad Rizwan as the vice-captain while Shaheen Shah Afridi will lead the T20I national team for the series against New Zealand.

Meanwhile, the first T20 match between Pakistan and New Zealand has been scheduled for January 12 in Auckland, New Zealand.

Earlier today, the national cricket team reached Auckland from Sydney, Australia, for a T20 international series against the hosts.

It is to mention here that Pakistan recently got whitewashed against Australia in a three-match Test series.
