RAWALPINDI: Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Chairman Mohsin Naqvi wants to transform Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium into a World Class Arena, ensuring that the fans can experience top-tier cricket at the venue.
During his visit to the Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium on Wednesday, Naqvi assessed the existing facilities available to cricket enthusiasts at the venue. Expressing the need for an upgrade plan, Naqvi emphasized the swift implementation of measures to elevate the Cricket Stadium to global standards.
He stressed the importance of enhancing facilities within the stadium enclosures, suggesting the installation of permanent seating instead of temporary arrangements and improvements to the ground conditions.
Naqvi inspected various sections of the stadium, issuing necessary directives to officials concerned with enhancing facilities at the venue. The Chief Operating Officer of PCB, Salman Naseer, gave a briefing during the visit, while Chief Selector Wahab Riaz was also present on the occasion. —APP
