LAHORE: Pakistan Chairman Board (PCB) Chairman Mohsin Naqvi has directed the authorities concerned to prepare a comprehensive plan to boost the resources of the board.
A meeting of the PCB directors in the chair with Mohsin Naqvi was held in Lahore where various departmental performances and related issues were reviewed.
The Director of Human Resources presented a report on PCB’s structure and its employees, prompting Naqvi to stress the importance of efficiency across all sectors. He emphasized the necessity of formulating a viable strategy for revenue generation, enhancing facilities at the National Cricket Academy for players, and implementing a holistic approach to cricket promotion at all levels.
Specifically, Naqvi assigned the Directors of Marketing, Estate, and Commercial to develop a revenue generation plan. Suggestions were also made to make the Pakistan Super League (PSL) more engaging and to launch a league for women cricketers.

Earlier on Friday, he had announced that standout performers from Pakistan Super League season 9 would join the upcoming fitness and training camp ahead of the New Zealand tour.
The New Zealand team will visit Pakistan in April for a five-match T20I series starting on April 18. The ICC T20 World Cup 2024 will be held in June.
