PCB Chairman Mohsin Naqvi praised the investors’ keen interest, calling it a milestone that would not only benefit the PSL but also bring honour to the country.
“The strong interest in acquiring two PSL 11 teams is extremely positive and encouraging,” Naqvi said.
The upcoming PSL 11, scheduled for next year, will see the addition of two new teams, marking the first major restructuring of the league since its inception in 2016.
With these additions, the total number of franchises in the PSL will increase to eight, further elevating the profile of the tournament and expanding its reach globally.
