PCB and ECB Hold Discussions on Bilateral Series and Upcoming ICC Events

LONDON, England: Chairman of the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB), Mohsin Naqvi, met with Richard Thomson, Chair of the England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB), and ECB’s Chief Executive Officer, Richard Gould, in London on Saturday.

PCB’s Chief Operating Officer, Salman Naseer, also attended the high-level discussions.

The meeting addressed several critical issues, including the recently concluded and upcoming bilateral series between the two cricket boards. Chairman Naqvi invited his ECB counterpart to visit Pakistan during England’s Test tour scheduled for October.

He also expressed his gratitude to the ECB officials for their pivotal role in the successful execution of the T20 series between Pakistan and England.

Both board leaders exchanged well-wishes for their respective teams in the upcoming ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2024. Chairman Naqvi updated the ECB representatives on the preparations for the ICC Champions Trophy 2025, assuring them of world-class facilities and robust security measures for all participating teams.

In response, Chairman Thomson conveyed his best wishes for the PCB’s efforts regarding the Champions Trophy, highlighting the cooperative spirit between the two cricket boards.
