RAWALPINDI: At least 28 persons including women and children got wounded when a passenger bus overturned on Rawalpindi-Murree expressway near Bastal Mor on Friday morning.
Motorway police said that a passenger bus travelling from Murree to Lahore overturned after its tyre burst, resulting in multiple passengers receiving serious injuries.
The police and rescue teams immediately reached the spot after they were informed.
The wounded passengers were transferred to the nearby hospital.
Investigation to find out further details into the incident is underway.
