Parliamentary Committee to Probe Audio Leaks of Saqib Nisar’s Son

ISLAMABAD: The National Assembly of Pakistan has formed a parliamentary committee to investigate the alleged audio leaks of Najam Saqib, son of former Chief Justice of Pakistan, Saqib Nisar.

The resolution to constitute the committee was presented before the National Assembly, which was approved by the House. The parliamentary committee has been directed to complete the investigation within the allocated time.

Member of the National Assembly (MNA) from JUI-F, Shahida Akhtar Ali, suggested that the committee should seek help from the concerned department in order to conduct an investigation of Najam Saqib. She further added that a forensic inquiry of the audio leak should also be carried out.

Alleged audio leak of Saqib Nisar’s son

Earlier, an alleged audio leak of Najam Saqib and PTI ticket holder, Abuzar Chaddhar, emerged online. In the audio clip, Najam Saqib can be heard discussing the distribution of PTI tickets with the party’s candidate from the PP-137 constituency.

The leaked audio has caused uproar in political circles, with many demanding an investigation into the matter.

The formation of the parliamentary committee is seen as a step towards uncovering the truth behind the alleged audio leaks. The investigation is expected to shed light on the authenticity of the audio clip and the involvement of the individuals in the conversation.

The probe into the audio leaks of Najam Saqib is a significant development as it involves the son of a former chief justice, adding further weight to the investigation.
