According to the Saudi Press Agency, the Prime Minister warned of the consequences of the settlement proposal on historical milestones, including a construction in Hebron. Palestinian Prime Minister Mohammad Shtayyeh expressed the remarks during a session convened by the Palestinian government. The PM said the settlement development is a continuation of the Nakba, which resulted in the mass movement of Palestinians.
The current year marks the 75th anniversary of the Nakba, which will be remembered for the 1st time by the United Nations in New York.
The remembrance will witness the participation of the Palestinian President, who expressed optimism that it would mark the start of an effective global response to the “ethnic cleansing” that the occupation is committing against the Palestinians.
