RAMALLAH: The Palestinian Presidency has called on the US Administration to put pressure on Israel to stop its aggression in the Gaza Strip and to halt the ongoing massacres against the defenceless Palestinian people.

The Presidency demands that the US enforce respect for international resolutions concerning the conflict.

In a statement released on Saturday, the Palestinian Presidency condemned the recent massacre by Israeli forces at a school sheltering displaced people east of Gaza City.

The Israeli attack hit a school in Gaza City sheltering displaced people and killed more than 100 people, taking the overall death toll to 39,800 since October 7, 2023.

The statement held the US Administration accountable for the continuation of Israeli aggression in Gaza, now entering its tenth month.

The Presidency described this attack as part of a broader pattern of daily massacres by Israeli forces in Gaza and the occupied West Bank.

It criticized the international community’s silence on these relentless Israeli crimes and accused Israel of attempting to annihilate the Palestinian people through mass slaughter and daily violence.

The recent massacre at Al-Tabieen School in Gaza City has resulted in over 100 deaths, with dozens more injured or missing, marking one of the largest tragedies the Gaza Strip has faced in recent weeks.
