Palestine Embassy in Pakistan Mourns Gaza Hospital Attack Victims

ISLAMABAD: In line with the announcement made by Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas, the Palestine Embassy in Islamabad, Pakistan, mourns the civilian victims who tragically lost their lives in the heinous Israeli attack on Gaza’s Hospital.

The Israeli airstrikes on Al-Ahli Hospital in the Gaza Strip have resulted in a devastating loss of at least 500 lives.

In a show of solidarity with victims, the flag at the Palestinian Embassy now flies at half-mast to honor and remember all the martyrs of the attack. 

The Palestinian President, Mahmoud Abbas, strongly condemned the attack, which he referred to as a “hospital massacre” in Gaza, and announced three days of mourning.

Meanwhile, Pakistan’s Prime Minister Anwaar-ul-Haq Kakar and the political leadership of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz, Pakistan People’s Party, and Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf have strongly condemned the attack.

Pakistan’s Foreign Minister, Jalil Abbas Jilani, stated that the heinous attack on a hospital is not an act of self-defense and violates international humanitarian law.

In a tweet on the social media platform X, Jilani mentioned that targeting innocent children, women, doctors, medical personnel, and displaced civilians seeking shelter is a violation of international humanitarian law.
