RAWALPINDI: Pakistan’s security forces eliminated two terrorists in separate operations in northwestern Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province on the night of 9/10 October 2023, according to a statement issued by Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) on Tuesday night.
The ISPR statement read that an intelligence-based operation was conducted in the general area of Kulachi, Dera Ismail Khan district. Following an intense exchange of fire, a terrorist named Ikram was neutralized. He had been actively involved in numerous terrorist activities against security forces, including recent attacks on Police Station Hathala and Rori Police Check Post.
In another encounter with terrorists in the general area of Miran Shah, North Waziristan district, security forces effectively engaged the terrorist location, resulting in the elimination of one terrorist.
Weapons and ammunition were also recovered from the killed terrorists. Local residents in the area expressed their appreciation for the operation and voiced their full support for the eradication of terrorism.
