QUETTA: Pakistan security forces on Friday claimed to have killed two terrorists and injured another in a successful intelligence-based operation (IBO) in southwestern Balochistan province, ISPR said in a press release.
The terrorists were involved in targeting innocent civilians and law enforcement agencies, the military’s media wing Inter-Services Public Relations, said in a statement.
The intelligence-based operation was conducted in the Mazaband Range area of Kech district, located at a distance of 770 km from the provincial capital Quetta.
The statement further read that a significant cache of arms and ammunition was also recovered.
ISPR said that the security forces of Pakistan are committed in their determination to eradicate the threat of terrorism and counter the malicious intentions at all costs of those who seek to harm the country.
