RAWALPINDI: Seven terrorists were killed, while another six were critically injured during a fire exchange between Pakistan’s security forces and terrorists in the Ursoon region of Chitral district, located in the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province, Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) said in a press release on Sunday.
According to the ISPR, Pakistan’s security forces effectively engaged with the terrorists’ location. After a fierce exchange of gunfire, seven terrorists were eliminated, while an additional six sustained critical injuries. To ensure the complete eradication of any remaining terrorists in the area, a thorough sanitization operation is currently underway, as stated by the ISPR.
Locals of the area appreciated the operation by the Security Forces and expressed their unwavering support for the eradication of the menace of terrorism from the country.
