RAWALPINDI: Pakistan’s security forces conducted an Intelligence Based Operation in the Kulachi area of DI Khan district, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province, resulting in the elimination of three terrorists, according to a press release by the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) on Sunday.
The operation, which involved intense fire exchange, led to the successful neutralization of the terrorists. Security forces also recovered weapons and ammunition from the scene during the operation, as stated by the ISPR.
Terrorists Were Involved in Terror Activities
The killed terrorists were found to be actively involved in various terrorist activities targeting security forces, police personnel, and innocent civilians. They were specifically wanted for their involvement in a raid on a Police CP in Kulachi on April 11, 2022, which resulted in the martyrdom of five courageous police constables, the ISPR added.
Following the operation, the area is being thoroughly sanitized to ensure the elimination of any remaining terrorists. The security forces of Pakistan remain steadfast in their determination to eradicate the menace of terrorism, as emphasized by the ISPR.
The successful operation serves as another testament to the ongoing efforts of Pakistani security forces in countering terrorism and maintaining the safety and security of the nation.
