Saim Ayub back on top
In a tightly contested battle at the top of the all-rounders’ rankings, Saim Ayub has surged past Zimbabwe’s Sikandar Raza to reclaim the number one position.
The Pakistani dasher now boasts 303 rating points, edging out Raza who slips to second with 297 points.
Ayub’s rise underscores his growing influence in the shortest format, contributing significantly with both bat and ball for his side in the ongoing World Cup campaign.
India’s powerful all-rounder Hardik Pandya holds firm at third place with 282 points, while Nepal’s Dipendra Singh Airee and Afghanistan’s Azmatullah Omarzai are tied for fourth.
Notably, India’s Shivam Dube has also made his presence felt, securing the ninth spot on the all-rounders’ list.
Spectacular leap of Ben Manenti
However, the most astronomical rise of the week belongs to Ben Manenti.
The Italian all-rounder has defied gravity, jumping a staggering 160 places on the all-rounders’ table.
From relative obscurity, he now finds himself joint 20th, showcasing the depth and unpredictability of talent on display in global cricket.
Kishan’s dizzying rise continues
On the batting front, India’s Ishan Kishan continues his meteoric ascent.
Ranked a lowly 78th at the time of his comeback earlier this year, Kishan has been on a relentless upward trajectory.
After rising to 32nd just before the World Cup and climbing to 25th after the first two games, his dazzling, match-winning 77 against Pakistan has propelled him all the way to eighth place in the world.
He joins a star-studded Indian contingent near the top, with Abhishek Sharma holding the number one spot.
Sri Lanka’s Pathum Nissanka also made a huge statement.
His unbeaten, championship-winning hundred against Australia, which effectively knocked the giants out of the tournament, has lifted him three places to third in the batting rankings.
India’s Tilak Varma also gained ground, moving up one spot to fourth.
Evans enters top five
Zimbabwe’s Brad Evans has been rewarded handsomely for his role in one of the greatest upsets in World Cup history.
His figures of 3-23 in the famous victory over Australia, which secured Zimbabwe’s place in the Super Eights and eliminated the Aussies, helped him jump ten places.
He is now ranked fifth on the ICC men’s T20I bowling chart, achieving a career-best rating.
At the top of the bowling mountain, India’s mystery spinner Varun Chakravarthy continues to reign supreme with 796 points, holding off challenges from Rashid Khan (2nd) and Abrar Ahmed (3rd).
