ISLAMABAD: India’s military on Saturday admitted that India has suffered heavy damages after retaliatory actions by Pakistan on multiple Indian airbases and military installations.
Addressing a press conference in New Delhi, Indian army spokespersons Col Sofiya Qureshi and Wing Commander Vyomika Singh acknowledged that Pakistan launched high-speed missile strikes on strategic airbases located in Pathankot, Udhampur, Bhuj, and Adampur. They admitted that 26 Indian targets were hit in Pakistan’s retaliatory actions.
“India does not wish to prolong this conflict”
Col Sofiya Qureshi, representing the Indian Army in the press briefing, said India was committed to halting further escalation, provided Pakistan reciprocated. “India does not wish to prolong this conflict. If Pakistan also agrees to de-escalate, we are prepared to stand down,” she said.

The Indian army confirmed that Pakistan launched high-speed missile strikes on strategic airbases located in Pathankot, Udhampur, Bhuj, and Adam Port. The spokespersons said the strikes caused “considerable damage” to infrastructure and equipment.
“Operation Bunyan-un-Marsoos”
The Times of India reported that Indian army spokesperson Col Sofiya Qureshi admitted that four Indian bases suffered a heavy loss, including assets and staff in retaliatory actions by Pakistan. She said Pakistan has carried out 26 airstrikes and Indian assets as well as staff suffered in Udhampur, Pathankot, and Bhuj.
Radio Pakistan reported that Pakistan has launched a robust response to blatant Indian aggression under “Operation Bunyan un Marsoos” (Iron Wall), symbolizing national unity and an unwavering commitment to safeguarding the sovereignty and territorial integrity of the homeland. Several key Indian military sites have been targeted and destroyed. According to security sources, Pakistan has destroyed BrahMos Storage site in Beas area of India.

Pakistan has also destroyed airbase at Udhampur while an airfield at Pathankot. All those bases in India which were used to attack Pakistani people and Masajids were targeted.
