ISLAMABAD: Pakistan’s Prime Minister Anwaar-ul-Haq Kakar posted a documentary on his official social media platform, featuring Indian forces’ brutality in the Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK).
He shared the video a day before Kashmiris prepared to observe October 27 as a Black Day, marking their strong protest against Indian brutalities in IIOJK over the last 76 years.
Every year, October 27 is observed as a Black Day worldwide by the Kashmiri people in protest of the continuous 76-year Indian illegal occupation of the disputed valley.
In the video’s caption, PM Kakar said, “Witness the untold stories, the courage, and the long path to self-determination in Kashmir through this documentary, ‘The True Version: Kashmir Disputed.'”

The documentary revealed shocking statistics regarding the suffering of the Kashmiri people, including the killing of over 97,000 innocent individuals, 10,000 cases of forced disappearances, and the discovery of 8,000 mass graves during the past three decades in the Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir.
This eight-minute documentary provides a historical account of the Kashmir dispute, featuring statements from prominent Kashmiri leaders, human rights and legal experts, and presenting statistics that shed light on the seven decades of Indian oppression in the disputed region.
The documentary commences with the words of the late Kashmiri leader Syed Ali Geelani, emphasizing that Kashmir is a disputed territory and not part of India. Geelani advocates for the right to self-determination for the Kashmiri people.
APHC leader Mirwaiz Umar Farooq, who was re-detained shortly after his release from a four-year house arrest, highlighted the absence of democracy, rule of law, and accountability in the Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir. He noted the region’s exceptionally high concentration of troops, deployed not for the protection of the people but to suppress them.
Mushaal Hussein Mullick, Special Assistant to the PM on Human Rights & Women Empowerment, emphasized that Kashmiris are not only being killed, shot, raped, and abducted but also deprived of their economic and ownership rights.
