ISLAMABAD: Pakistan’s Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif on Thursday felicitated the president of Azerbaijan on the occasion of Eidul-Azha.
In a telephonic talk with President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev, Shehbaz Sharif expressed his best wishes for the government of Azerbaijan and its people. According to a press statement issued by Pakistan’s PM media office, Shehbaz Sharif lauded the warm hospitality extended to him and his delegation during his recent trip to Baku earlier this month.

He expressed satisfaction that significant engagements at the various bilateral levels are being coordinated with Azerbaijan in the wake of decisions taken during his visit. Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and President Ilham Aliyev also reaffirmed their commitment to further enhance bilateral ties in all sectors.
Shehbaz Sharif also extended an invitation to President Ilham Aliyev to visit Pakistan which he most graciously accepted.
