ISLAMABAD: Pakistani Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif, currently visiting Ankara at the invitation of President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, attended the inauguration ceremony at the Presidential Complex on Saturday.
The Prime Minister conveyed heartfelt felicitations on behalf of the Government and the people of Pakistan to President Erdoğan on his re-election as President of Türkiye and wished him continued success.
Recognizing President Erdoğan’s visionary leadership, the Prime Minister stated that Türkiye’s impressive progress in all fields over the past twenty years was a remarkable achievement.
As the Turkish Republic commemorates its centenary this year, it is fitting that President Erdoğan continues to lead the great nation on the path to progress and prosperity, the Prime Minister added.
The Prime Minister also expressed gratitude to the President for his efforts to promote regional peace and his commitment to diplomacy and dialogue.

PM Shehbaz Invited President Erdoğan to Visit Pakistan
Reiterating his commitment to further strengthen the brotherly ties between Pakistan and Türkiye and enhance their diverse strategic partnership, the Prime Minister invited President Erdoğan to visit Pakistan and co-chair the 7th Meeting of the High-Level Strategic Cooperation Council (HLSCC) in Islamabad.
Pakistan and Türkiye enjoy historic relations that transcend the boundaries of time and geography. Both countries have always supported each other in times of need while celebrating each other’s successes.
The President thanked the Prime Minister and reciprocated the warm sentiments, also expressing his best wishes for the Government and people of Pakistan.
Later, the Prime Minister joined other world leaders at the banquet hosted by President Erdoğan for the visiting dignitaries.
