ISLAMABAD: Pakistan’s President Dr. Arif Alvi highlighted the importance of exploring opportunities in trade, investment, and culture with Bangladesh. These remarks were made during a meeting with the Ambassador-designate to Bangladesh, Syed Ahmad Maroof, at Aiwan-e-Sadr.
Trade Potential Between Pakistan and Bangladesh
President Alvi stressed the significant potential for trade between Pakistan and Bangladesh, calling for focused attention on this aspect. He noted that both countries shared commonalities in religion and history and stressed the importance of strengthening people-to-people and cultural connections.
The President extended his best wishes to the envoy-designate and encouraged him to work towards fostering closer ties between Pakistan and Bangladesh during his tenure in Dhaka.
