Pakistan’s President, PM Pay Tribute to Martyred Soldiers in Kahan Blast

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan’s President Dr Arif Alvi, and Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif on Sunday paid rich tribute to the Pakistan Army soldiers who were martyred during the security forces’ clearance operation in the Kahan area of Balochistan.

In a statement, President Alvi condoled with the families of the martyred and lauded their services in defence of the country.

He also appreciated the security forces’ efforts to eradicate terrorism from the country. He prayed to Allah to grant the martyred personnel the highest ranks in Jannah.

Meanwhile, in a tweet, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif expressed deep sorrow over the loss of precious lives. 

“Heart-wrenching news from Balochistan about the martyrdom of five soldiers, including an army captain. The nation pays its tributes and respects to our heroes who sacrificed their lives for Pakistan. The perpetrators of terrorism will be brought to justice. Let there be no mistake about it,” the Prime Minister tweeted.
