ISLAMABAD: Pakistan’s President, Dr. Arif Alvi, has conferred the Nishan-e-Imtiaz (Military) upon Admiral Ercument Tatiloglu, Commander of the Turkish Naval Forces.
The prestigious award was presented to the Turkish Naval Commander in a special investiture ceremony held at Aiwan-e-Sadr on Tuesday.
The award was presented in recognition of Admiral Tatiloglu’s significant contributions to strengthening the defense relations between Pakistan and Turkey.
The ceremony started with Pakistan national anthem and the recitation of verses from the Holy Quran. Senior officers from both the Pakistan and Turkish navies attended the ceremony.
