ISLAMABAD: Pakistan’s President, Dr. Arif Alvi, has given his approval for the awarding of the Nishan-e-Pakistan, the country’s highest civil honor, to Dr. Syedna Mufaddal Saifuddin.
The President Secretariat Press Wing said in a press release on Wednesday that Dr. Mufaddal Saifuddin, the 53rd Da’i al-Mutlaq and the Mumbai-based leader of Dawoodi Bohras.
The Press release further read that the president approved the conferment of a civil award under Article 259 (2) of the Constitution and the Decorations Act of 1975.
Religious leader Dr. Syedna Mufaddal Saifuddin is head of Dawoodi Bohra Community, has arrived in Pakistan along with his family members on November 20.
