ISLAMABAD: Pakistan’s Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif said on Monday that the revelations by the former governor of Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir about the reality of the Pulwama incident had exposed Indian designs against Pakistan.
Taking to Twitter, Prime Minister Sharif said that the revelations reflected how the Indian government exploited the situation for political benefits, which vindicated Pakistan’s stance.
He urged the world community to take notice of India’s nefarious designs and dangerous brinkmanship that could have caused disastrous consequences for the whole region.

Ministry of Foreign Affairs also reacted to the important revelations of the former governor, saying the disclosures demonstrated how the Indian leaders had habitually used the bogey of terrorism to advance its Hindutva agenda and sham victimhood narrative, clearly for domestic political benefits.
The statement that Pakistan hoped the world community would take notice of the latest revelations and check India’s propaganda drive against Pakistan was pushed by selfish political considerations and based on deceit and lies.
The statement added that it was time to hold India accountable for the actions that endangered regional peace after the Pulwama incident.
On Friday, in an interview with the Indian website The Wire, Malik said that Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi hid important facts from the public about the Pulwama incident.
He said that he immediately realized that Modi wanted to use the incident to blame Pakistan for the political gains of his government and the BJP.
He said the attack on the Central Reserve Police Force convoy resulted from the carelessness and incompetence of the Indian system, especially the CRPF and the home ministry.
He also provided details of how the force had asked for aircraft to transport its personnel, but its request was refused by the home ministry.
