Pakistan’s PM to Visit Saudi Arabia on Tuesday to Attend FII Conference

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan’s Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif is scheduled to pay an official visit to Saudi Arabia to attend the 8th Edition of the Future Investment Initiative (FII) being held in Riyadh from October 29 to 30.

According to a Foreign Office statement on Monday, key cabinet ministers will accompany the prime minister during the visit.

The statement said the Future Investment Initiative (FII) is an important platform for nations to showcase their economic strength, engage in dialogue to shape a sustainable future and draw foreign investments.

“This year’s FII is themed “Infinite Horizons: Investing Today, Shaping Tomorrow” and will focus on foreign investments aimed at addressing key issues such as artificial intelligence, education, energy, robotics, finance, space, healthcare, and sustainability,” it said.

The prime minister is also expected to hold meetings with participating leaders and entrepreneurs at the moot.
