ISLAMABAD: Pakistan’s Caretaker Prime Minister Anwaarul Haq Kakar will attend an extraordinary summit of the Organisation of Islamic Council (OIC) that will take place on November 11 (Saturday) in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
Addressing the weekly briefing, Foreign Office Spokesperson Mumtaz Zahra Baloch said that the OIC summit has been convened in response to the unprecedented Israeli attacks on Gaza, which pose a serious threat to civilians and precipitate a humanitarian crisis.

She said that the prime minister would depart for Saudi Arabia country today. The interim Foreign Minister Jalil Abbas Jilani would attend the OIC’s Council of Foreign Ministers preceding the summit.
Baloch said that at both meetings, Pakistan would continue to play its role to advance the global consensus and galvanise efforts for an urgent end to Israeli aggression against the Palestinian people.
