ISLAMABAD: Pakistan’s Caretaker Prime Minister Anwaar-ul-Haq Kakar on Wednesday strongly condemned the terrorist attack on the security forces’ convoy in Razmak, North Waziristan. The prime minister expressed his grief over the martyrdom of two soldiers.
PM Kakar extended his condolences to the families of Lance Naik Ihsan Badshah and Sajid Hussain. PM Kakar sympathized with the bereaved families and prayed for patience to them and the elevation of ranks of the martyrs in paradise.
“We will fight and eradicate the scourge of terrorism”, the prime minister said, adding, “The sacrifices offered by the security forces and law enforcement agencies for the country’s survival are unforgettable.”
The prime minister added that the whole nation felt proud of its martyrs and their families.
Attack on Security Forces Convoy in North Waziristan
The soldiers of the Pakistan Army embraced martyrdom when an improvised explosive device (IED) exploded on a convoy of security forces in the Razmak area of the North Waziristan district of northwestern Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province of Pakistan.

As a result of the explosion, two soldiers, Lance Naik Ehsan Badshah (33 years of age and a resident of Karak district) and Lance Naik Sajid Hussain (30 years of age and a resident of Kurram district) embraced martyrdom, ISPR said.
Sanitization operation is being carried out in the area to eliminate any terrorists present in the area. “The security forces of Pakistan are determined to eliminate the menace of terrorism, and such sacrifices of our brave soldiers further strengthen our resolve,“ ISPR affirmed.
