ISLAMABAD: Pakistan’s Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has felicitated Dr. Harini Amarasuriya on assuming office as the new Prime Minister of Sri Lanka.
In a statement on social media platform X, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif wished her all the success. He also expressed confidence that the multi-faceted cooperation between Pakistan and Sri Lanka will grow under her leadership.
“Congratulations to Hon. Dr. Harini Amarasuriya on assuming office as the new Prime Minister of Sri Lanka. I wish her all the success. I am confident that the multi-faceted cooperation between Pakistan and Sri Lanka will grow during her tenure,” PM Shehbaz wrote on his X account.
