Condemning the suicide blast in the federal capital, the prime minister sought a report from the interior minister and the Islamabad police inspector-general.

PM Sharif also issued directives to the authorities concerned to give a ‘martyred package’ to the martyred policeman.

The prime minister while paying homage to the martyred policeman, Adeel Hussain, said that the cop stopped the terrorist by sacrificing his blood and the nation salutes the brave man.

PM Sharif said that the whole nation will continue the war together until the country gets rid of terrorism.

He said that a plan to shed the blood of innocent people has failed due to the prompt action of law enforcement personnel and the people should fully cooperate with their law enforcers to overcome the menace of terrorism.

It should be remembered that when the police officers stopped a vehicle for searching in the IT14 area of Islamabad, a suicide bomber detonated the vehicle filled with explosives with the help of explosives, as a result of which the two suicide bombers were killed and a policeman also died.
