ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister (PM) Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif is scheduled to undertake a six-day official visit to Turkiye, Iran, Azerbaijan, and Tajikistan from 25 to 30 May 2025.
During the visit, the Prime Minister will have wide-ranging discussions with the leaders of these countries on the entire range of issues covering bilateral relations and matters of regional and international importance, said a press release issued by the Foreign Office on Friday.
He will also have the opportunity to express the deepest appreciation and acknowledgment for the support extended to Pakistan by the friendly countries during the recent crisis with India.
The Prime Minister will also be attending the International Conference on Glaciers in Dushanbe, Tajikistan, from 29-30 May 2025.
On the first leg of a four-nation visit, the Prime Minister will arrive in Türkiye on 25th May to hold talks with the Turkish President on 26th May in Ankara. The next day, he would arrive in Iran, where he is set to meet Iranian leadership, including the nation’s spiritual leader, Syed Ali Khamenei.
