ISLAMABAD: Russian Ambassador to Pakistan Danila Ganich paid a farewell call on the Caretaker Prime Minister Anwaar-ul-Haq Kakar in Islamabad on Thursday.
The Prime Minister commended the valuable contribution of the envoy towards further strengthening bilateral relations.
He wished the envoy good well for his next assignment and hoped that he would always remain a good friend of Pakistan.
Discussing bilateral ties, PM Kakar said that Russia, a key player in the region and globally, remains an important partner of Pakistan.
Pakistan-Russia Relations
He expressed satisfaction at the steady growth of bilateral relations between Pakistan and Russia and reiterated the need to further develop mutually beneficial cooperation.
The premier said that connectivity and energy are important sectors to develop collaboration which will benefit people on both sides as well as in the region.
Prime Minister Kakr also appreciated cooperation between the two nations at international fora.
