ABU DUBAI: Pakistan’s Interim Prime Minister Anwaar ul Haq Kakar paid a visit to the Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque in Abu Dhabi today.
The premier offered fateha at the mausoleum of the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan.
The visionary leadership of the UAE’s Founding Father, Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, he noted, had fostered a culture of tolerance and peaceful coexistence among nations worldwide. The Prime Minister recalled the close relationship between the late Sheikh Zayed and the people and leadership of Pakistan.

Throughout the visit, the Prime Minister received a briefing on the mosque’s noble message, emphasizing coexistence, tolerance, and openness to various cultures. This message is inspired by the rich legacy of the nation’s late founder. The mosque plays a pivotal role in highlighting the true essence of Islamic culture and promoting cross-cultural communication globally.
The Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque stands as a masterpiece of modern Islamic architecture, boasting a capacity to accommodate over 40,000 visitors. It holds the distinction of being the largest mosque in the UAE and the third-largest globally.
He was accompanied by the Interim Chief Minister of Punjab, Syed Mohsin Naqvi, and Pakistan’s Ambassador to the UAE, Faisal Niaz Tirmzi.
