ISLAMABAD: Pakistan’s Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif on Sunday presented tribute to the security forces of the country for eliminating five terrorists in a successful operation in the Hassan Khel area of Peshawar, the capital city of northwestern Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province.
The prime minister, in a statement, also prayed the Allah Almighty to grant higher status in paradise to martyred captain Hussain Jahangir and Havaldar Shafiqullah.
The PM also condoled with the bereaved families.
He said that the security forces carried out a successful operation against the terrorists by risking their lives.
Pakistan’s Resolve to Eliminate Terrorism
The prime minister reiterated the resolve to eliminate the scourge of terrorism from Pakistani soil.
He said that the entire nation is proud of their valiant forces. The whole nation presents tribute and salute to the martyrs.
