ISLAMABAD: Pakistan’s Prime Minister, Shehbaz Sharif, congratulated Information Minister Marriyum Aurangzeb on the launch of PTVFlix, a new video streaming OTT platform that will make PTV’s vast library of content accessible to users worldwide.
“The launch of the PTVFlix platform is a great initiative. The platform will enrich PTV’s content, which has touched the lives of countless Pakistani citizens over the decades. This content will now be conveniently accessible to overseas Pakistanis as well,” the Prime Minister tweeted.

The Prime Minister also congratulated Minister for Information Marriyum Aurangzeb on this achievement. He also lauded the officials involved in this project from the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting and PTV.
Minister Aurangzeb expressed her excitement at the launch, saying that PTV has produced content over the years that has become a national treasure, including popular dramas and shows like Dhoop Kinaray and Aynakwala Jin, which have become a part of the collective memories of the Pakistani people.
PTVFlix to connect “nostalgic” viewers PTV’s golden era
The platform will connect “nostalgic” viewers with the golden era of Pakistan Television (PTV). The new platform will allow users to access PTV’s vast library of content, including TV dramas, documentaries, shows, sports, and other programs. The app is available for download on both iOS and Android platforms.
