ISLAMABAD: Pakistan’s Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif received a phone call from Iran’s President, Seyyed Ebrahim Raisi, on Thursday. President Raisi conveyed his heartfelt greetings to the Prime Minister on the occasion of Eid ul Azha, and the Prime Minister reciprocated the kind sentiments while extending his felicitations to the Government and people of Iran.
During the conversation, both leaders took the opportunity to discuss various areas of mutual interest and bilateral cooperation. Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif highlighted the joint inauguration of the Mand-Pishin border marketplace on May 18, 2023, as a significant milestone and expressed his commitment to working closely with President Raisi and the Iranian Government for the welfare and advancement of both nations.
