Pakistan’s PM, FM to Reach Quake Hit Turkiye on Wednesday

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan’s Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif will reach Turkiye on February 8 (Wednesday) to offer condolences and sympathize with the people of the earthquake-stricken nation.

The prime minister would be flanked by Foreign Minister Bilawal Bhutto, and both would visit the earthquake affected areas in Turkiye.

Diplomatic sources said the premier would also visit Ankara to meet Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan.

Pakistan sends medical assistance to quake hit Turkiye

Meanwhile, the foreign office, in its statement, said Pakistan was grieved over the loss of lives and property, and the people were praying for the early recovery of the injured.

Pakistan will also dispatch rescue and medical teams along with medical assistance to Turkiye to aid in rescue and relief activities.
