ISLAMABAD: On the joyous occasion of Eid-ul-Fitr, Pakistan’s Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif has extended heartfelt greetings to the people of Pakistan and the entire Muslim Ummah, emphasizing the values of solidarity, compassion, and harmony.
In his message, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif highlighted the significance of Eid-ul-Fitr as the culmination of Ramadan, a month marked by spiritual growth, forgiveness, patience, tolerance, and resilience. He stressed the importance of embodying the underlying message of Eid, which encourages solidarity, generosity, and building a peaceful and prosperous society.
While celebrating the joyous occasion, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif urged citizens to remember the less fortunate and extend support to those in need, ensuring that everyone can partake in the festivities of Eid-ul-Fitr. “While we enjoy the celebratory delight of this great occasion, we must not forget the least fortunate amongst us. I appeal to you to help those around you who deserve our support so that they could also share the joys of this occasion,” PM Shehbaz said.
Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif also paid tribute to the valiant martyrs of Pakistan’s armed forces and law enforcement agencies, who have made supreme sacrifices to ensure peace and tranquility in the nation. He expressed gratitude to the gallant veterans who continue to safeguard Pakistan’s borders, maintain internal security, and contribute to peacekeeping missions abroad.
Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif called upon Muslims worldwide to remember their Palestinian and Kashmiri brethren, who continue to endure atrocities under occupation forces, depriving them of the opportunity to fully enjoy Eid festivities. He urged prayers to Almighty Allah for the ease of their difficulties.
“I also urge Muslims around the world to remember their Palestinian and Kashmiri brothers and sisters who are facing the worst kind of atrocities of the occupation forces and they will be constrained to enjoy the joys of Eid. We all pray to Almighty Allah to ease their difficulties,” PM Shehbaz said.
Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif expressed hope for the spread of the true meaning and significance of Islam, guiding humanity towards emancipation, peace, and harmony. He invoked blessings for peace and prosperity to prevail worldwide. Ameen!
