ISLAMABAD: Pakistan’s Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has strongly denounced today’s deadly bombings by the Israeli forces in Khan Younis, Gaza that killed at least 70 Palestinians, mostly children and women.
In a statement issued today, he characterized the attack as a grave violation of human rights, emphasizing that Palestinian refugees were denied the opportunity to evacuate.
Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif asserted that the actions of Israeli forces reveal a clear agenda of genocide against Palestinians. He reaffirmed Pakistan’s unwavering solidarity with the Palestinian people.
The Prime Minister called upon the United Nations to take decisive action in addressing the Palestinian issue and bringing about a resolution.
At least 70 Palestinians, mostly women and children, have been killed and over 200 wounded by Israeli airstrikes on Monday targeting the city of Khan Younis in southern Gaza, the territory’s health ministry said.

“Due to the Israeli occupation’s attacks and massacres in Khan Younis governorate from the early hours of this morning until now, 70 people have been martyred and more than 200 wounded,” the ministry said in a statement.
Meanwhile, thousands of Gazans fled an Israeli-designated humanitarian zone Monday after the army ordered them to leave and warned of an imminent operation.
