ISLAMABAD: Pakistan’s Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif on Sunday called upon the civilized global community to strongly condemned the highly offensive acts of desecration of the Holy Qur’an.
On his Twitter handle, PM Shehbaz said, “The highly offensive desecration of the Holy Qur’an by a Danish politician is the third such incident in a row that the civilized world should strongly condemn.”
Urgent need for global unity
The prime minister further said that the need for global unity to fight Islamophobia could not be more urgent than it was now.
“We are deeply hurt over the unacceptable acts,” the prime minister posted.
