ISLAMABAD: Pakistan’s Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif on Wednesday announced, an increase in salaries of Federal Secretariat officers, by 150% to end disparity in Executive Allowance.
The decision will benefit the BS 17 to 22 officers who remained deprived of the Executive Allowance.
The decision was scheduled to come into effect from 1 January 2023.
The step has been taken with the consultation of Finance Minister Ishaq Dar.
