Pakistan’s National Assembly Speaker Calls for International Action on Shared Challenges

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan’s National Assembly Speaker Sardar Ayaz Sadiq has called for unified global action to tackle the pressing challenges faced by the international community.

He made these remarks during the inaugural ceremony of the 45th Annual Forum of Parliamentarians for Global Action in Islamabad today.

Emphasizing the urgent threat of climate change, the Speaker underscored the need for concerted international efforts to address this crisis. He also highlighted the suffering of innocent Palestinians in Gaza, urging every parliamentarian to raise their voices in their respective parliaments to put an end to these atrocities.

Sardar Ayaz Sadiq stated that dialogue is essential for resolving conflicts and even ending wars. He encouraged all participants to engage actively in discussions to formulate a collective strategy that can be presented in their own legislative bodies.

The forum is attended by parliamentarians from 39 countries, as well as international jurists, intellectuals, media representatives, and civil society members, showcasing Pakistan’s successful parliamentary diplomacy.
