ISLAMABAD: The total liquid foreign reserves of Pakistan stood at US$ 13,588.8 million in the last month.
At the end of September, the foreign reserves held by the State Bank of Pakistan stood at 7,899.8 million US dollars. While the net foreign reserves held by commercial banks were 5,689.0 million US dollars. Thus the total liquid foreign reserves were 13,588.8 million US dollars.
During the week ended on 30-Sep-2022, SBP’s reserves decreased by US$ 106 million to US$ 7,899.8 million due to external debt repayment which includes interest payments on Eurobonds.
