ISLAMABAD: Pakistan’s Minister for Information and Broadcasting Attaullah Tarar has strongly condemned the use of indecent language used by the PTI leaders against the Punjab Government and state institutions.
He was addressing a press conference alongside Minister for States and Frontier Regions Engineer Amir Muqam in Islamabad.
The Information Minister said people have rejected the PTI. He said the PTI rally in Islamabad was a flop show despite the use of machinery of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. He added after its rejection by the people, PTI is venting out frustration against the government of Punjab.
Attaullah Tarar said the Chief Minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa should join hands with the federal government and armed forces to defeat terrorists. He noted PTI is a foreign-funded party and a part of the Zionist lobby.
The Information Minister went on to say that the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Government failed to launch any major project in the province. He added differences within the PTI ranks have also destroyed the party and now people have lost confidence in its leadership.
Attaullah Tarar said the Chief Minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa should pay attention to the issues related to the province instead of delivering hate speeches against others.
Replying to a question, he slammed the use of abusive language against journalists, particularly women media persons, by the PTI leadership.
Speaking on the occasion, Amir Muqam said the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Government has failed to deliver for the betterment of the people miserably.
Condemning the use of the provincial government’s funds for a political rally by PTI, he demanded an investigation into the matter. He also denounced the use of derogatory language by PTI at its political rally.
Meanwhile, Advisor on Law and Justice, Barrister Aqeel Malik has said the new disclosures pertaining to PTI have exposed its anti-state agenda.
Talking to the journalist, he said WhatsApp messages, containing conversations of PTI leader Raoof Hassan with Indian analyst Rahul Chaudhry, have exposed the party’s designs against the state.
Barrister Aqeel Malik said the derogatory language was used against the national security and the state institutions in the PTI rally.
