In response, PPP Senator Sehar Khan stated that she worked hard to make Constitution and Civic Education mandatory parts of the curriculum. Sehar continued by saying that she introduced the “Civic Education Commission Act 2018” in Parliament. Students must be taught the Constitution and Civic Education in schools, according to the law.

Teaching the Constitution to schoolchildren will help them understand the nation’s guiding principles and values, as well as their rights and responsibilities as citizens. It will also aid in the development of critical thinking skills as well as an appreciation for the democratic process.
