KARACHI: Pakistan’s total liquid foreign exchange reserves stood at 14.38 billion dollars, while reserves held by the central bank reached 9.1 billion dollars.
The State Bank of Pakistan said in a statement on Thursday that the central reserves dropped by 6 million to $ 9,103.3 million during the week ended on June 07.
Reserves held by commercial banks
Meanwhile, net foreign reserves held by commercial banks were recorded at $ 5,280.5 million, the statement added.
In the previous week ending on May 31, Pakistan’s total liquid foreign reserves were $ 14,215.6 million.
Among them, foreign reserves held by the central bank were $ 9,109.5 million, while net foreign reserves with commercial banks were $ 5,106.1 million.
